Hard Candy "Shot of Lemon"

This is one of the newly released Hard Candy polishes, to which I am pleased to say are available in Canadian Wal-Marts, which is amazing because none of the previous HC polishes were. So hooray! I used three coats, no top coat-there is still a bit of visible nail line, which is made more noticeable by the dirt under mine (sorry, the horrors) as I'd just put on foundation with my fingers and hadn't used a nail brush. It's a beautiful sparkly canary yellow.

Essie beyond cozy

Pretty sure this is holiday 2012 collex, it's very sparkly. Two coats without top coat, it's gritty like the new OPI sands. And it's today's manicure.

Empties

I was killing time at work reading beauty blogs when I ran across "so lonely in gorgeous" posting pictures of the beauty products she has used up. This is a fantastic idea, especially if you are a product hoarder like myself. I tend to buy new things before I use up old stuff and I'm hoping this will allow me to cut down on that behavior . My first post has a shit ton of empties because I just used up all of the almost finished bottles I have kicking around.

First up is Oil of Olay ultra moisture body wash. This is a goodly amount of product to get through -it smells ok and is non drying. I wouldn't repurchase without a coupon, it's the kind of thing I would keep in my gym bag but the smell isn't luxe enough to make me NEED it.

Next is zatik coconut and calendula conditioner- I liked this. Smells great, VERY moisturizing without silicones (I think) I bought this at winners. Would repurchase, don't recommend this for fine hair though.

K-pak conditioner by Joico. Bought this as a sample size in London drugs for 2.99, it's an OK conditioner and nothing more

Origins SPF face cream. Had I realized my photo was this shitty I would have written it down. Was a 500 point perk from Sephora, I liked this cream but would not repurchase . Rest of that perk gift was stellar though .

Skin food egg white pore foam sample. This stuff rocks!! Feels great on my face.

Korres yogurt mask-nice, would not repurchase . Well this came in a kit but you know what I mean. Moisture masks that aren't sleeping packs aren't my thing

Lush dream cream-used this before, live it. Very pricey but smells amazing.

Polaar serum. Bought this at winners also - awkward packaging and it did nothing for my skin. AND it's usually 30 bucks ! Forget that. You can't tell how much remains in the bottle and they don't give you very much.

Tres semme platinum strength . Typical silicone hair treatment, nothing special. Aussie 3 minute miracle is way better, got this in my glossy box.

Laura Mercier foundation primer, I didn't mind this although I won't buy a full size as there are other primers I like more.

Done. Finally!! I didn't use this stuff up in a month, I just finished them all recently.

Wet n Wild nail polish "Fergie" in Glowstick

I picked this wet n wild polish up in Waikiki a couple of months ago-at the time the Fergie polishes weren't available in Canada. Walmart has since stocked them, although nothing else from the Fergie collection much to my chagrin. Canadians always get the shaft when it comes to consumerism, no cheap booze and no US cheap makeup goodies. Seriously, I bought 1.5 liters of Bombay Sapphire gin for 30 bucks at the Costco in Kona, HI. How any of you stay sober in the US is beyond me. But I digress. I don't have a ton of lime green polish, and this is a new favorite. It is bright. BRIGHT. But not neon, and I like that. I paid about 3.98 in a drugstore across from Hilo Hatties in Honolulu. This is two coats, although I could have used three. I find that all nail polish chips badly on me unless I use a gripping base coat, like Orly's bonder. And I also find polish doesn't dry on me for ages, which is why I only did two coats.

It seems like every person and their donkey has a beauty blog nowadays. This one happens to be mine, and I'll be using it to swatch my extensive nail polish collection, as well as my other stuffs. So many, many stuffs. Honestly I think that if I take the time to swatch my make up I won't waste so much money on it, because I LOVE the stuff and it will give me something else to do besides shopping for it. So let's see how this works.
